What is a free agent?

You want to play. You just need a team.

A free agent is a player who wants to join a PFA league but isn't connected to a team yet. When you sign up, your information goes into the free agent pool for the league of your choosing. Coaches looking to fill roster spots can find you there and reach out directly.

You don't need prior experience. You don't need to know anyone. You just need to want to play.

How it works

Three steps.

Fill out the free agent form

Tell us which league you're interested in, your experience level, availability, and how coaches can reach you. Takes about two minutes.

Your info is shared with coaches

PFA shares the free agent list with coaches through a private channel. Coaches building or filling their rosters can see your information and reach out to you directly.

A coach reaches out

If a coach wants you on their team, they'll contact you using the information you provided. You decide if it's the right fit.

Common questions

Do I have to be experienced?

No. All experience levels are welcome. Include your level in the form so coaches can find the right fit.

Can I sign up for more than one league?

Yes. Indicate which leagues you're interested in on the form and we'll make sure coaches from each one can find you.

What if no coach reaches out?

PFA will do our best to connect free agents with teams. If you haven't heard anything two weeks before the season, reach out to us directly.

Is there a deadline?

Sign up as early as possible. Coaches start building rosters well before each season starts.
