Small Grants. Big Joy.
Not every great idea needs a big budget. That’s why we offer microgrants—small, simple funding that helps individuals and grassroots groups bring play to life in their communities.
Whether it’s joining a soccer team, starting a weekend art class, or organizing a neighborhood game day, we’re here to help you make it happen.
What We Fund
Microgrants typically range from $50 to $500 and can cover:
Sports team fees or rec league registration
Equipment and supplies (balls, uniforms, paint, yoga mats, etc.)
Event costs (flyers, snacks, music, facilitator stipends)
Space rentals or transportation for recreation-based activities
Starter funds for creative, community-based play initiatives
If it brings joy, connection, or movement to your community—we’ll consider it.
Who Can Apply?
Any member of the public who needs help covering the cost of recreation.
That includes:
Parents and caregivers who want to enroll their kids in classes, teams, or activities
Teens or adults seeking support to participate in sports, arts, or wellness programs
Families with limited income or other barriers to recreational access
Community members organizing something joyful and inclusive but need a little help with supplies or fees
You don’t need to be part of an organization. You just need a reason to play.
